1. Our standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the federal Accessible Canada Act.

2. What we have built in

• Semantic HTML with correct heading order and landmark regions.
• Full keyboard operation, including the cart drawer and menus, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• Text contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
• Descriptive alternative text on product photography, and labels on every form field.
• Status messages announced to assistive technology — for example when an item is added to the cart.
• Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
• Layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels and up to 400% zoom.

3. Known limitations

Some imported product descriptions contain tables whose structure is not ideal for screen readers, and a few older catalogue photographs have brief alternative text. We are working through both and expect to finish within the next review cycle.
